About

I'm a London-based software engineer, currently down the AI rabbit hole. I like building useful things and seeing them actually used.

I spent a few years in corporate finance, where I learned how to build reliable systems and work within constraints. Over time, though, I realised I enjoyed building products end-to-end more than maintaining pieces of larger systems.

That's what pushed me to start building on the side.

Around the same time, AI tools were getting good enough to actually be useful. I wanted to build with them rather than just follow along from the sidelines.

Since mid-2024, I've shipped everything from internal business tools to customer-facing apps and workflow automations. Every project adds to the toolbox and helps me refine what works, and when.

Boring Builds is where I write about that process. The projects, the tech, what's working, what isn't. Just notes on building things and figuring it out as I go.

If that sounds interesting, stick around.
